Was given the opportunity to collaborate with Innovative Dermatological Solutions (IDS) on a 4-month skin transforming journey. This includes using their signature skincare products and going for aesthetic treatments such as facials and laser.
Truth be told, I was excited to experience it for myself since IDS has been frequently endorsed by many other influencers. So cheers to a brand new skincare regime to kickstart postpartum life! After all, trimester four is said to be the toughest... right?
There are two IDS Clinics in Singapore - Novena & Orchard. I visited the Novena branch and was impressed with its interiors and friendly staff. It was a weekday however it was really crowded! Worth the long wait I guess as I was assigned to be in Dr Lum's good hands.
During the consultation, she asked what my skin concerns are and did a skin analysis. I don't have any major issues but just wanted a healthy glowing hydrated skin. We then concluded that we should work on my acne scars, freckles and to improve my overall skin tone. And we all know one size doesn't fit all when it comes to skincare products so she prescribed them according to my current skincare needs.
With that, I was ushered into another room where a friendly and very knowledgeable staff Carine explained to me in-depth on how to use each product as well as the key ingredients in each of them. She even wrote down the product usage sequence so that it wouldn't be too overwhelming.
Can I just say... it takes a lot of effort to upkeep a skincare regime! For a fuss-free girl like me, the products were really intimidating initially but it just gets some getting use to... and of course, lots of diligence. These are the products I have to use EVERY DAY.

I have definitely seen improvement in my acne scars within a week.
Definitely lots of work for my mummy-hormones. But with self care and self love in mind, let's hope to achieve a glowing, well hydrated and acne free skin!
