IDS Skincare
Luxurious, brightening and clear skin.
There, that's the TL;DR version.
I just finished my dual yellow pico laser treatment at IDS Clinic just a week ago, and boy, am I (still) impressed. Super excited to share this as I think I just might have stumbled unto one of my favourite beauty treatments, ever.
This laser treatment is a non-ablative treatment, which can be completed in under an hour. Great for busy professionals especially, when time is of essence. It's also great if you were in a crazy rush and need improved skin within the day, such as if you're going to a last minute huge event, or yes you guessed it right, your own wedding.
I was super impressed by the results, and of course I had to ask when the next treatment for someone with my skin condition should come back.
The friendly clinic help shared that some people do this every 3 weeks, but based on my condition (which scores fairly okay, phew), I can come back every month for this. Well, of course, ultimately this is a rough (geddit?) guide. Well, it really depends on your skin condition, which can be best addressed and advised by their resident pretty doctor, Dr Michelle Wong.
Thing is, I wish my skin could look like this, every day.
This quick fix is overall great for those especially with sensitive skin, acne, and sporty folks who love to be out in the sun - well, both intentionally or unintentionally.
The treatment does a good job of brightening the skin, with lasting effects up to a couple of weeks after that (at least for me, skin still looks good after 1 week).
What I also love about this treatment is that there is absolutely no downtime, and if you need to (fact: you don't, not after this laser session), you can still put on slight makeup. No judgement whatsoever, the benefit is that you can do whatever you like after this session.
"What about redness?", you ask?
Overall, while other clinics generally use single yellow multi wavelength laser power, this clinic uses dual laser power, which makes it effective and strong, yet still managed to keep it gentle. That's why it's great for people with acne, who tend to go for this treatment to reduce redness as it offers a pretty instant good result for them.
But honestly, skin that looks as clear and bright when it's this bare? Nuh-uh, I'm not going to destroy this bare canvas (at least, until my skin shouts for the next session of this yellow laser treatment).
This treatment generally trials for S$200 to S$300+, and usually retails for around S$500 per treatment, just on its own. But there are packages you can go for that will set you back less than if you require a solo visit - though honestly, after trying this once, I honestly doubt it'll be your last visit.
You can also visit www.idsskincare.com for more about their products or www.idsaesthetics.com if you wish to know more about their treatment, as well as to book an appointment with their aesthetics doctor who will be able to provide a deeper understanding of your skin condition.
More here on the other treatment I did with IDS: Hydro Therapeutics Facial Treatment.
Ta-ta! Till next time.
xoxo, Janel
